2024年11月7日に始まった福岡のThursday Gatheringは、まもなく2周年を迎えます。毎週木曜日の開催は、これまでに91回。
同じ木曜日でも、集まる人の顔ぶれや会場の熱気は、季節ごとに少しずつ違っていました。
印象派を代表する画家・クロード・モネは「積み藁」「睡蓮」「ルーアン大聖堂」など、同じ風景を、朝や夕暮れ、夏や雪の日に、何枚も描き続けました。一枚だけでは見えない光の移ろいが、並べてみることで初めて浮かび上がります。
我々のThursday Gatheringの2年間も同じです。一回ごとの記録を並べたとき、何が変わり、何が変わらなかったのかが見えてきます。
本セッションでは、九州大学の高田 仁先生と、長年コミュニティデザインを研究してきたアリス・バレ氏を迎えます。Thursday Gathering 2年分の記録をひとつの「連作」として読み解き、福岡のイノベーションエコシステムの変化を探ります。
会場の皆さんのライブ投票も踏まえて、3年目に向けて「残すべき軸」と「更新すべき要素」の仮説を一緒に立てます。
初めての方にとっては、福岡のスタートアップコミュニティの2年間を一度に見渡せる機会です。何度も足を運んでくださった方にとっては、ご自身が見てきた木曜日を振り返り、次の1年をつくる一票を投じる場になります。どちらの方も、自社の事業やチームづくりで「続けるべきもの」と「変えるべきもの」を見極める判断基準を持ち帰っていただけます。アートの予備知識は必要ありません。

On November 7, Thursday Gathering Fukuoka turns two. Over 91 Thursdays, the crowd, the energy and the conversations have shifted with the seasons.
Monet painted the same haystacks again and again: at dawn, at dusk, in summer and in snow. No single canvas tells the story. Only when the series is laid side by side does the changing light become visible. Two years of TG work the same way.
In this session, Professor Takata of Kyushu University and Alice Balle of Ekohe, who has spent years researching community design, will read two years of TG records as a single series.
Together they will ask what has changed and what has stayed constant in Fukuoka’s innovation ecosystem. Through live voting, the audience will help shape hypotheses on what to keep and what to update for Year 3.
New to Thursday Gathering? This is a quick way to see how Fukuoka’s startup community has grown over two years. Been coming for a while? Your Thursdays are part of the series, and your vote helps decide what comes next.
Either way, you’ll leave with practical criteria for deciding what to anchor and what to evolve in your own business or team.

2013年、福岡市役所入庁。主にスタートアップ支援業務を歴任。官民共働型のスタートアップ支援施設「Fukuoka Growth Next」の運営支援、起業家向け海外研修プログラムを担当。また、在外スタートアップ支援機関とのスタートアップの相互支援に関するMoUに基づき、欧米を中心とした海外展開支援業務や海外スタートアップイベント参加に係るプロジェクトコーディネート業務を推進。その後、現職。 In 2013, I joined the Fukuoka City Government, where I primarily worked in startup support. I was involved in supporting the operation of “Fukuoka Growth Next,” a public-private startup support facility and promoted Startup Visa package, which is a gold track for international entrepreneurs. Additionally, based on Memorandums of Understanding with overseas startup support organizations, I promoted overseas expansion support activities, focusing on Europe and the United States, and coordinated projects related to participation in international startup events and conference.
