在日カナダ大使館 商務部では、カナダグローバル連携省が主導するCanadian Technology Accelerator（以下CTA）プログラムを介し 、日本市場進出を目指す次のユニコーン候補となりうるカナダ発テック系スタートアップを重点的に支援しています。
今回は、CTA Japanの卒業企業（アルムナイ）で、すでに日本市場で活躍しているカナダのAIスタートアップ をご紹介します。
AI大国として知られるカナダでは、日本企業の皆様の間でどのような連携案件が進められているのか？事例をご紹介しながらカナダの特徴、世界で注目されるAIスタートアップを続々と輩出するカナダのAIイノベーションエコシステムについて解説します。

The Trade Section of the Embassy of Canada to Japan is providing focused support to Canada‑based tech startups—potential future unicorns—seeking to enter the Japanese market through the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program, led by Global Affairs Canada.
This time, we are pleased to introduce Canadian AI startups that have already made significant inroads into the Japanese market and are alumni of CTA Japan.
As a global leader in AI, Canada is seeing a growing number of collaboration initiatives with Japanese companies. In this session, we will introduce specific examples of such partnerships and provide an overview of Canada’s unique strengths, as well as explain the AI innovation ecosystem that continues to produce globally recognized AI startups.
In the panel session, we will welcome Mr. Alex Odajima—who has extensive experience in accelerator programs across multiple countries—as the facilitator. From the perspectives of startups, ecosystem support organizations, and government representatives, the discussion will explore Canada’s appeal as a co‑creation partner, key points for advancing Japan–Canada startup collaboration, and how both sides can generate meaningful synergies that lead to new business opportunities.
